BONIFANTES at George Bizet's Carmen

BONIFANTES at George Bizet’s Carmen

It is said that opera is the very summit of the stage arts, a combination of musical, dramatic, and creative elements combining to produce a spellbinding performance.

In addition to its “routine” concert performances, both concert groups also devote their time to this stage art and participation in performances of Tosca and Carmen enabled the boys from Pardubice to perform alongside soloists from some of the world’s leading opera houses, people such as Peter Dvorský, Mara Zampieri, Anda Luisa Bogza, Yikun Chung, Rosella di Genova, and Galiya Ibragimova. The male-voice choir also shone in a performance of the Barber of Seville.

The BONIFANTES Boys Choir cooperates with East-Bohemia Theatre and Exil Theatre. Members are active actors in several plays. You can hear the specific sound of BONIFANTES Choir in theatrical music.
